Can we edit a 360 cycle after it has started?
Once a 360 cycle has begun, only certain administrative actions are allowed:
- • Add a feedback seeker
- • Extend the survey end date
- • Remove respondents if they haven't started their survey yet
- • Add or change a manager if the survey hasn't started
- • Change the category of a respondent if the survey hasn't started
Please note that changing email addresses is currently not supported.
Can the tool be customized to our competencies?
Yes, we can tailor the survey to your specific competency framework and behavior statements.
Is there any limit on the number of people the tool can cover?
No, there is no limit on the number of respondents that can be covered by the tool.
Can we use this tool to conduct a manager effectiveness survey?
Yes, this tool can effectively conduct a manager effectiveness survey by using questionnaires specifically to measure manger effectiveness and comparing self-assessments of manager with team feedback. It provides valuable insights for improving managerial performance
Can values be measured through the 360 tool?
Yes, our tool has a built-in capability for a separate values assessment that does not affect overall competency scores. The rating scale for this section can also be different from the competency section.
Can respondent categories be customized?
Yes, respondent categories can be fully customized based on your needs (e.g., team members, stakeholders, peers, etc.) The system also allows you to add external stakeholders.
Can a 360 survey be kicked off without a self-assessment?
No, a self-assessment is mandatory as it is crucial for generating the report.
Is it possible to configure an option to have a Leader not know about the 360?
No, since we have designed the 360 to help people understand how their own perception of their strengths and development opportunities matches or differs from others, we require the self-assessment to be completed in order for a 360 report to be generated.
Can reports be shared with HR before being shared with employees?
Yes, reports can be shared with the HR team before they are sent out
Can limits be set for each respondent category?
Yes, we can define minimum and maximum numbers of respondents for each stakeholder category.
What are the min and max limits you recommend for a respondent category?
There is no limit to the number of respondents that can be requested, but note that the minimum threshold for all respondent groups is three (3) in order for that group’s data to display (with the exception of the manager group- this threshold is one (1)
Can questions be made non-mandatory?
All rating-based questions are mandatory. However, you do have the option to make open-ended questions non-mandatory.
Can we add open-ended questions?
Yes, open-ended questions can be included in the survey to gather qualitative feedback and are recommended.
Is the rating scale customizable?
Yes, the rating scale is fully customizable, including the number of ratings and their definitions.
Is there any cap on the minimum and maximum number of questions in the survey?
No, there is no cap on the minimum or maximum number of questions you can include in the survey.
Note that in our 360 reports, we show the top 3 relative strengths, as well as the top 3 development opportunities, and these are based on the “Excluding Self” average score of scaled questions that are mapped to a competency. So, we recommend having a minimum of 4 scaled questions that are mapped to a competency in your survey.
How can HR track survey completion status?
HR is given access to a dashboard with live data. They can use that to track survey completion status and download reports in Excel format.
Will I be able to access live support during the survey?
Our support team is available to assist employees via the "Contact Us" page or by emailing us at admin@talentonic.com. The HR team is assigned one point of contact that can be reached on WhatsApp during work hours
What security measures are in place to protect data?
All data is hosted on Azure, with IP authentication required for accessing any client data, ensuring top-tier security.
Is the survey available in languages other than English?
Currently, our surveys are available only in English.
How long does it take to resolve participant queries?
We strive to resolve queries and issues within a 4-hour turnaround time.
How do you ensure maximum response rates?
We send regular reminders to employees who have not completed their surveys. These reminders can be sent as per HR’s request at predefined days and times.
Is the report text customizable?
Yes, the text in the reports is fully customizable to meet your organization’s needs.
For rating scales, can we include a “Not Applicable” option that won't be factored into scores?
For all rating questions, we offer a 'Not Applicable' option for respondents who feel the question isn’t relevant to them. If a respondent selects this option, that particular question is excluded from the overall score calculation.
Can you add an open-ended comments box to a question that is not open-ended?
No, comments can only be provided for questions that are specifically designed to be open-ended.
What data is required to set up a 360-degree feedback survey?
We require basic information such as employee code, name, email address, and department. Additionally, you can provide optional data like grade, gender, designation, and location. We provide a standard template to help gather this information, and our consultant will assist you in preparing the data for the survey.
How long does it take to set up a survey?
The survey setup process typically takes around 3 days once we receive the required data for the survey.
